Lines & Wrinkles
Consultation for Lines & Wrinkles
Lines and wrinkles can develop over time through facial movement, changes in skin quality and the natural ageing process.
At Good Skin Aesthetics, we take a personalised approach to treatment. Your concerns, medical history and facial movement will be carefully assessed before any recommendations are made.
Where a prescription treatment may be suitable, an initial face-to-face consultation with our prescriber is required before treatment can take place. This allows us to assess suitability, discuss expected results, possible side effects and answer any questions you may have.
FAQs

Every face is different, and treatment should never be one-size-fits-all. Your consultation allows us to discuss your concerns, assess your facial movement, take a full medical history and talk through the options that may be suitable for you. A consultation does not automatically mean that treatment will be recommended. If this type of treatment is appropriate for you, you will need a face-to-face consultation with our prescriber, who will assess your suitability and prescribe only where clinically appropriate
-
We will talk about the areas that concern you and assess your skin, facial anatomy and natural facial movement. We will also discuss your medical history, expectations and the different approaches available. Sometimes skincare or another treatment may be more appropriate.
-
No. There are circumstances where treatment may not be appropriate, which is why a full medical history and consultation are essential. Your suitability will be assessed individually before any treatment is recommended or prescribed.
-
All medical and aesthetic treatments carry potential risks and side effects. These will be explained fully during your consultation and before you make a decision about treatment. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
Common and expected side effects include:
Mild swelling at injection sites
Redness or tenderness
Small raised bumps immediately after treatment
Bruising
Slight discomfort or sensitivity in treated areas
These effects are usually mild and settle within 24–72 hours.

Treatment involves the use of a fine needle. Individual experiences vary, and possible discomfort and side effects will be discussed during consultation. Ice may be helpful in numbing the skin for nervous patients as well as reducing the risk of a bruise.
-
This will depend on the treatment recommended for you. Where a prescription treatment is considered appropriate, your practitioner will explain what you can realistically expect, including when changes may become noticeable and how long the effects typically last.
