3D Dermaforce Microneedling/RF is an advanced method of skin rejuvenation that stimulates the body’s natural healing process to encourage collagen production in the dermis resulting in rejuvenated and tightened skin. During treatment, the radio frequency energy is delivered through the insulated needles allowing precise delivery to the dermis while protecting the epidermis layers of the skin. The radio frequency wave penetrates the basal melanocyte barrier, heating the collagen fibres in the dermis to 55C–65C. This stimulates the body’s natural healing process, increasing cell turnover as the body heals – resulting in the production of collagen and elastin in these areas.

  • Microneedling RF is an advanced aesthetic treatment that is used to treat a variety of skin conditions such as pigmentation, skin tone & texture, enlarged pores, wrinkles, loose skin and stretch marks.

  • Your skin will look plump due to the increase in thickness of the dermal tissue caused by collagen production. This will give an improvement to lines, wrinkles and crepey skin. Pigmentation patches will improve and even the tone of the skin. Improves the quality of textured skin. Stretch marks and loose skin can also be improved during a course of treatments.

    You are likely to see results immediately, but full results take around 30 days. Results can last approximately 9-12 months and a course of 1-6 sessions are recommended, dependant on the skin concern.

  • The procedure takes approximately 45=60 minutes.

  • Like other treatments, microneedling RF has side effects. The procedure causes short-term redness, swelling, and skin flaking, often lasting a few days. Preparing for the treatment and following the aftercare advice correctly will minimise any potential adverse reactions.

  • No downtime, but skin can be red, there may be slight swelling or tenderness for up to 3 days after the treatment. Aftercare will be discussed prior to and following treatment.

  • Microneedling treatments can be uncomfortable but manageable and tolerable. During treatment, the radio-frequency energy is delivered through the gold plated, insulated needles allowing precise delivery to the dermis. There is a slight warmth and pressure in the skin during application. Your skin will be slightly pink after treatment and may feel similar to when you have been in the sun.

  • A full consultation is required at least 2 weeks prior to treatments as a number of steps are required before the treatment is carried out.

    2 weeks prior to treatment:

    Avoid Laser Hair Removal, waxing, depilatory creams, and IPL treatments on the face

    Avoid Cosmetic Grade Peels

    Avoid Cosmetic Injectables

    Avoid sun exposure, always wear SPF

    3 days prior to treatment: Avoid exfoliators, acids or any retinol or vitamin A-based products.

  • Full aftercare advice will be given at the pre-consultation and again when you come for treatment.

    Redness and irritation will subside within 24 hours.

    For the first 48 hours, avoid excessive sun exposure, hot showers, and saunas.

    Avoid swimming or strenuous exercises at least for the next 24-48 hours.

    Use correct aftercare including gentle hydrating products recommended at consultation

    Avoid active/exfoliating products for the next 5-7 days after the treatment.

    Avoid touching the skin after the treatment and do not pick flaky skin
