Facial Balancing
Restoring balance. Supporting skin health. Honouring your natural anatomy.
Great skin health requires a strong foundation. Our comprehensive Facial Harmony Assessment looks beyond individual lines to evaluate your overall facial proportions, symmetry, and structural support. During this thorough consultation, we analyse how your unique anatomy interacts with light, movement, and aging.
Rather than chasing isolated wrinkles, we create a bespoke plan to restore natural balance. If indicated, this may involve precise, minimal structural support in key areas, such as the mid-face, to beautifully complement your skin health journey without ever looking overdone. Treatment is completely tailored to your assessment and is priced dynamically based on your unique anatomical needs
Facial Balancing Consultation
A personalised assessment of facial proportions, volume and areas of concern, with dermal filler considered where appropriate.
The aim:
Add volume where needed
Support facial structure
Improve contours
Benefits of Facial Balancing
Natural looking results
The main goal is always enhancing your existing features, not changing them completely.
Improved proportions
Even small adjustments can make a big difference on your overall appearance.
Non-surgical
Non-surgical means less risks, no long recovery, and more flexibility.
Boost in confidence
When your face looks balanced, it helps you feel good about yourself.
-
Ageing and volume loss
As you age, you lose volume in areas like the cheeks and around the mouth. Facial balancing can help:
Restore volume
Improve structure
Create fresher appearance
-
Results may include:
Better symmetry of the face
Improved proportions
Softer and more defined contours.
You will see a difference right after your treatment, although there may be mild swelling for a few days and your final results settles within 1 to 2 weeks
-
The treatment takes approximately 20-60 minutes.
-
As with all advanced injectable treatments, there are risks. At Good Skin we do everything possible to reduce that risk using strict safety standards.
Risks can include:
Bruising and swelling (common and temporary)
Filler movement
Vascular complications (rare but serious)
-
There is little to no downtime, meaning you can usually return to work or normal daily activities right away.
Immediate to 48 Hours: Mild swelling, redness, tenderness, or minor bruising are common at the injection sites. Lips and under-eye areas tend to swell more than the cheeks or jawline.
3 to 7 Days: Initial swelling and redness typically subside, and minor bruising fades to a level that can be easily covered with makeup.
1 to 2 Weeks: The filler fully settles and integrates into the surrounding facial tissue, allowing final results to show
-
There can be minimal to moderate discomfort, rather than severe pain. Most people describe the sensation as a quick pinch, sting, or a feeling of pressure as product is injected.
How it feels depends mostly on the area being treated and the pain management techniques used.
-
To prepare for dermal fillers, avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and supplements like fish oil or Vitamin E for a few days prior to minimize your risk of bruising and swelling. You should also postpone any dental work or active skincare treatments (like retinols) within two weeks of your appointment, and let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores so they can prescribe a preventative antiviral. On the day of your treatment, arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, and make sure you have eaten a light meal and stayed well-hydrated to prevent any lightheadedness.
-
For optimal healing, avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area for at least 6 hours, and stay upright for 4 hours to prevent the filler from migrating. Skip strenuous exercise, intense heat (like saunas), and alcohol for 24 to 48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising, and hold off on standard dental work for 2 weeks. You can gently apply an ice pack intermittently on the first day to manage any mild discomfort or swelling, which typically resolves on its own within a week.
