The Technology

There is no doubting the evidence proving the benefits of utilising three laser wavelengths in a single handpiece, which simultaneously targets different tissue depths as well as anatomical structures within the hair follicle. With the combination of different penetration and absorption levels of these wavelengths, combined with the speed of delivery, you can be assured you will be receiving one of the safest and most comprehensive hair removal solutions today.

  • Suitable for all skin types due to the triple wave laser

  • Approx 10 - 14 days following treatment, the hair will fall out. New hair will grow back thinner and finer. Approx 6 treatments are recommended around 4-6 weeks apart too target hair at different growth cycles. There should be significantly less regrowth after each treatment.

  • The procedure takes approximately 15-45 minutes.

  • Like other treatments, laser hair removal has side effects including erythema, swelling and perifollicular oedema.

  • No downtime, but skin can be red, there may be slight swelling or tenderness for up to 24 hours after the treatment

  • Durning treatment, the hand piece will be used in a gliding towards and backwards motion over the skin. You may experience a warming sensation in addition to a slight pinkness to the skin. The treatment itself is virtually painless.

  • Bleach or depilatory creams should not be used for 2 weeks before or during the Trilogy weeks before or durning the Trilogy Ice treatment course

    Do not use products containing retinol or strong AHA fruit acids prior to or durning your hair removal treatment

    No waxing, plucking or threading durning the course

    Do not sunbathe or use sunbeds 4 weeks prior to and after treatment

    Body or facial scrubs are recommended 1 week or less before treatment to avoid ingrown hairs

  • Full aftercare advice will be given at the consultation

    For the first 48 hours, avoid excessive sun exposure, hot showers, and saunas.

    Avoid swimming or strenuous exercises at least for the next 24-48 hours.

    Use correct aftercare including gentle hydrating products recommended at consultation

    Avoid active/exfoliating products for the next 5-7 days after the treatment.

    Wear SPF 30+ on exposed areas
