Profhilo® Structura is the latest innovation in regenerative aesthetic medicine, designed to restore facial structure, improve skin quality and subtly reposition areas affected by age-related volume loss.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Profhilo Structura does not add artificial volume or change facial shape. Instead, it works by stimulating the body’s natural regenerative processes to rebuild and support the skin from within.

This treatment is ideal for clients experiencing early facial sagging, loss of firmness or changes in facial contour who want natural-looking rejuvenation without looking “done”.

Is Profhilo Structura a filler?

No. Although it contains hyaluronic acid, Profhilo Structura is not a dermal filler. It works by stimulating regeneration and improving tissue quality rather than creating volume.

How Does Profhilo Structura Work?

Profhilo Structura contains a highly purified concentration of stabilised hyaluronic acid designed to stimulate:

  • Collagen production

  • Elastin regeneration

  • Adipose (fat tissue) support

  • Skin firmness and elasticity

The product integrates within the tissue, encouraging natural regeneration and improving facial harmony over time.

Results develop gradually, creating a refreshed and lifted appearance while maintaining completely natural facial movement.

It is particularly suited to clients wanting subtle lifting and structural support without filler.

    Two treatments are required approx 4 weeks apart. Then a maintenance session every 6-9 months

    When will I see results?

    Initial improvement may be noticed after the second treatment, with continued enhancement over 8–12 weeks as collagen and tissue regeneration develops.

  • The treatment should take around 45 minutes.

  • As with any injectable treatment, there are some potential risks and side effects. Profhilo Structura is considered a very safe treatment when performed by a qualified medical aesthetic practitioner, however temporary reactions can occur.

    Common and expected side effects include:

    • Mild swelling at injection sites

    • Redness or tenderness

    • Small raised bumps immediately after treatment

    • Bruising

    • Slight discomfort or sensitivity in treated areas

    These effects are usually mild and settle within 24–72 hours.

    Serious complications are rare, particularly with Profhilo Structura due to its regenerative nature and placement technique. However, as with all injectable treatments, there is a very small risk of:

    • Infection

    • Allergic reaction

    • Vascular occlusion (blockage of a blood vessel)

    At Good Skin Aesthetics, advanced anatomical knowledge, appropriate injection techniques and thorough consultation procedures are used to minimise these risks.

  • Downtime is minimal. Small bumps at injection points usually settle within 12–24 hours. Mild tenderness or bruising can occasionally occur.

  • You may feel a slight stinging during the injection and some pressure, especially if a cannula is used.

  • Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and Vitamins C/E for 24-48 hours prior to minimize bruising. Stop using anti-aging skin products (retinol/acids) a week before and reschedule if you have an active cold sore or skin infection. Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face.

  • Following Profhilo® Structura treatment, it is recommended to avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated areas for 24 hours. Strenuous exercise, alcohol, excessive heat (such as saunas or hot baths), and facial treatments should also be avoided during this time. Mild swelling, tenderness or small injection site bumps may occur and usually settle quickly. Keeping the skin clean, well hydrated and protected with daily SPF will support optimal healing and results. Full personalised aftercare advice will be provided at your appointment.
