Chemical Peels

Chemical peels work by removing the outer layers of skin. The depth of the peel ranges from superficial to deep and is determined by the chemical agent used, the concentration, among other factors that will be discussed. Following a chemical peel, the deeper layers of the skin will respond by regenerating new skin and by increasing the production of collagen. The result is a look that’s smoother and more youthful.

BioRePeel is an innovative peel treatment, using 2-phase technology that taps into the power of bio-stimulation, revitalisation, and peeling substances to rejuvenate the skin.

It adopts a unique, non-invasive approach aimed at addressing a myriad of skin concerns, ranging from acne and enlarged pores to signs of ageing and uneven skin texture. This treatment delivers a strategic combination of active ingredients to stimulate skin cells, promote exfoliation and enhance collagen production. The outcome is a revitalised complexion, reflecting the holistic wellness of your skin.

Unlike traditional chemical peels that primarily rely on the peeling action of their acid components, BioRePeel utilises a unique blend of active ingredients, each playing a critical role in skin rejuvenation.

These include trichloroacetic acid (35% TCA) for improving the texture and appearance of the skin, alpha, beta and poly hydroxy acids for combating acne and skin brightening, and a combination of vitamins, amino acids and GABA for reducing lines and wrinkles and countering the effects of skin ageing by UV radiation and pollution

A TCA skin treatment is among the most effective chemical peels available. You can expect to see softer lines and wrinkles, healthier, glowing skin, and better tone and texture. There is also small tightening affect with a TCA peel.

For optimal results, it’s recommended to complete a course of six sessions, spaced two weeks apart.

Advanced Skin Regeneration & Renewal

The Derma 2.0 TCA Peel is an advanced medical-grade chemical peel designed to stimulate deep skin regeneration, improve texture, and restore overall skin quality.

Unlike superficial peels that focus mainly on surface exfoliation, this treatment works within the deeper layers of the skin to encourage cellular renewal, collagen stimulation and long-term skin restructuring.

At Good Skin Aesthetics, this treatment is carefully tailored following a professional consultation to ensure optimal results while maintaining skin safety and comfort.

What Does the TCA Peel Treat?

The Derma 2.0 TCA Peel is ideal for improving:

  • Acne scarring and uneven skin texture

  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing

  • Sun damage and pigmentation concerns

  • Dull, tired or thickened skin

  • Enlarged pores

  • Loss of skin firmness and elasticity

This treatment is particularly effective for clients looking for visible skin correction rather than just hydrationor glow-based treatments.

How Does It Work?

TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) works by creating controlled stimulation within the skin, triggering a natural regenerative response. This encourages:

  • Increased collagen and elastin production

  • Skin renewal from deeper layers

  • Improved tone, clarity and smoothness

  • Stronger, healthier skin structure over time

A skin-specific preparatory peel may be performed within the same appointment to enhance penetration and maximise treatment results.

What To Expect

During treatment, you may experience warmth, tingling or a mild stinging sensation as the peel activates. The procedure itself is relatively quick and performed in a controlled clinical environment.

Following treatment:

  • Skin may appear tight, red or slightly bronzed

  • Peeling typically begins within 2–4 days

  • Visible shedding can last 5–7 days

  • Fresh, renewed skin is revealed underneath

Downtime varies depending on skin type and treatment intensity and will be fully discussed during consultation.
